**🗺️ Day 1: Downtown & Waterfront** Start your morning at People's Park (corner of Palma Gil and Legaspi Streets, open 5 AM to 8 PM, free entry) for a stroll among orchids and sculptures. Walk to San Pedro Cathedral (San Pedro Street, open daily) and then head to the Davao Museum (Ateneo de Davao University, open 9 AM to 5 PM, PHP 50 entrance) for a dose of local history. For lunch, try the seafood at Marina Tuna (Rizal Street, open 10 AM to 10 PM, budget around PHP 300 per person). **🌅 Day 1: Sunset & Night Market** In the late afternoon, take a 10-minute tricycle ride to Roxas Night Market (Roxas Avenue, open 5 PM to midnight) for grilled tuna panga and other street food. After dinner, walk along the Davao Riverfront Boardwalk (near the market) for a relaxed evening view. End the night at a rooftop bar like Cloud 9 (Royale House Hotel, open until 2 AM) for city lights. **🏔️ Day 2: Mount Apo & Eden Nature Park** Book a day tour to Mount Apo via the Kidapawan trail (departure around 4 AM from Davao City, 2-hour drive, PHP 1,500-2,000 per person including guide and permits). Alternatively, visit Eden Nature Park (Eden, Toril, open 8 AM to 5 PM, PHP 500 entrance) for ziplining and horseback riding. Lunch at the park's restaurant (budget PHP 400) offers mountain views. **🌴 Day 2: Samal Island Escape** Take a 15-minute ferry from Sasa Wharf (PHP 50 one-way) to Samal Island in the afternoon. Visit the Monfort Bat Cave (Barangay Tambo, open 8 AM to 5 PM, PHP 100) or relax at Pearl Farm Beach Resort (PHP 500 day-use fee). Return to Davao by 6 PM for dinner at Lachi's (San Pedro Street, open 11 AM to 9 PM, PHP 250 per meal) for Filipino-Spanish fusion. **🛍️ Day 3: Shopping & Souvenirs** Spend the morning at Aldevinco Shopping Center (Claveria Street, open 10 AM to 7 PM) for tribal crafts, pearls, and durian candies. Then head to SM Lanang Premier (JP Laurel Avenue, open 10 AM to 9 PM) for mall shopping and a food court lunch (budget PHP 200). Don't miss the durian stalls outside the mall for fresh fruit. **🌿 Day 3: Nature & Farewell Dinner** Visit the Philippine Eagle Center (Malagos, open 8 AM to 5 PM, PHP 150 entrance) about 45 minutes from downtown by taxi (PHP 500 one-way). See the national bird and other endemic species. For a farewell dinner, book a table at The White House (Juna Subdivision, open 6 PM to 11 PM, PHP 800 per person) for fine dining in a heritage house. **🚌 Getting Around Davao** Tricycles are the most common transport for short trips within the city; fares start at PHP 20 per person. Taxis and ride-hailing apps like Grab are widely available; a trip from downtown to the airport takes about 30 minutes and costs PHP 200-300. For longer distances, consider renting a car with a driver for around PHP 2,500 per day. **💰 Budget & Tips** A mid-range budget for 3 days is around PHP 8,000-10,000 per person excluding accommodation. Carry cash as many small vendors don't accept cards. Always confirm the fare before boarding a tricycle. Try the local coffee at Coffee Cat (Rizal Street, open 7 AM to 10 PM, PHP 120 per cup) for a caffeine fix.
