How much budget for Leon de los Aldama trip?

Question

I'm heading to Leon de los Aldama in about 3 months and trying to figure out a realistic daily budget for food, transport, and sightseeing. Anyone been recently and can share what they spent per day?

yeah that 600-800 pesos range is pretty solid, but tbh i spent closer to 450-500 pesos a day just eating at the mercado and grabbing cheap street food. the local tortas are like 30-40 pesos and way filling. for transport i just walked most places, centro is small enough. if you're into shoes, budget extra for the zona piel area, u can find crazy deals but it's easy to overspend

honestly depends on what u wanna do but i'd budget around 600-800 pesos a day if you're not trying to go crazy. street tacos are like 15-20 pesos each, a good sit down meal maybe 150-200. for transport the bus is 12 pesos or u can walk most of centro, it's pretty flat. if you're hitting up the shoe district or going to the leather market on the weekend add a bit more for ubers maybe 50-80 pesos a ride. sightseeing is cheap, the main cathedral and the museum of art are free or really low cost. just don't eat at the tourist spots right on the main plaza, they overcharge.

I'd lean toward 700-900 pesos if you want to be comfortable and not stress about every taco. The Mercado Hidalgo is great for cheap eats, but the real gem is the little fondas on the second floor where you can get a full comida corrida for around 60 pesos. For nightlife, a michelada at a cantina near the Arco de la Calzada runs about 40-50 pesos, way cheaper than the places on the main strip. If you're here on a Sunday, the zocalo has free concerts and the whole street closes down, so you can save that day's entertainment budget entirely.
