**🗺️ Day 1 Morning** Start your first day at the Natural History Museum of Zimbabwe, located in Centenary Park along Park Road. It opens at 9:00 AM and admission is $5 for international visitors. Plan to spend about two hours here, as the museum's collection of African mammals and the famous 'Zimbabwe Bird' carvings deserve a slow look. **🍽️ Day 1 Lunch** For lunch, walk to the nearby Bulawayo Centre, a short 10-minute stroll from the museum. Try the popular 'Nando's' or the local 'Mama's Kitchen' for a taste of sadza and grilled meat. Expect to pay around $8 to $12 for a filling meal with a drink. **🏛️ Day 1 Afternoon** After lunch, take a taxi (about $5) to the Bulawayo Railway Museum, located at the Bulawayo railway station on the corner of 10th Avenue and Napier Street. It is open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and entry costs $3. Spend an hour exploring the vintage locomotives and carriages, then walk to the nearby City Hall and the iconic 'Bulawayo Theatre' for a quick photo stop. **🌆 Day 1 Evening** In the evening, head to the trendy suburb of Suburbs for dinner at 'The Bulawayo Club' on 8th Avenue, a historic members' bar that welcomes visitors. Alternatively, try 'The Local Grill' on Robert Mugabe Way for a relaxed atmosphere and grilled specialties. Most restaurants close by 10:00 PM, so plan to eat early. **🚶 Day 2 Morning** On day two, focus on the city center's colonial architecture. Start at the Bulawayo City Hall on Main Street, then walk along 8th Avenue to see the old stock exchange and the Tredgold Building. Allow about two hours for a self-guided walk, and pick up a map from the tourist office at the City Hall for $1. **🛍️ Day 2 Shopping** For shopping, visit the 'Nust Market' at the National University of Science and Technology, about 15 minutes by taxi (around $4). It operates on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and offers local crafts, textiles, and fresh produce. Bargaining is expected, so start at half the asking price. **🌳 Day 2 Afternoon** Spend the afternoon at Centenary Park, a peaceful green space in the heart of the city. It is free to enter, and you can relax by the lake or visit the small botanical garden. If you prefer, take a short taxi ride (about $6) to the Matobo National Park for a half-day game drive, but book ahead with a tour operator. **🎭 Day 2 Evening** In the evening, catch a performance at the Bulawayo Theatre on 8th Avenue, which often hosts local plays and music. Check the schedule at the box office or online; tickets range from $5 to $15. After the show, have a late dinner at 'The Three Sisters' restaurant on 12th Avenue, known for its hearty Zimbabwean stews. **🏞️ Day 3 Full Day** Dedicate your final day to a full-day excursion to Matobo National Park, located about 40 minutes south of Bulawayo by car. Hire a taxi for the day (around $50) or join a guided tour from the park office. The park is famous for its balancing rocks and ancient rock art; entry fees are $15 for international visitors, and guided walks cost an additional $10. **🍴 Day 3 Dinner** Return to Bulawayo by late afternoon and enjoy a farewell dinner at 'The Indaba Hotel' on 14th Avenue, which offers a buffet of local and international dishes for about $15. If you have time, take a sunset stroll along the Bulawayo Promenade, a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
