**🗺️ Day One: Downtown** Start your trip in the heart of the city at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum (620 N Harvey Ave). Spend the morning exploring the outdoor symbolic memorial and the indoor museum, which opens at 9:00 AM and costs $18 for adults. For lunch, walk to the nearby Bricktown district and grab a bite at the Brickopolis entertainment complex, where you can also try indoor mini-golf. In the afternoon, take a scenic water taxi ride along the Bricktown Canal, a 20-minute tour that costs $12 and runs every 30 minutes. **🚌 Getting Around** The OKC Streetcar is your best friend for downtown, with two loops that connect Bricktown, Midtown, and the Arts District. A single ride costs $3, or you can get a day pass for $6 from the ticket machines at each stop. For trips to outlying neighborhoods like the Plaza District or the Paseo, use the RAPID bus lines, which run every 15 minutes on weekdays. Expect 10 to 15 minutes of travel time between downtown and these nearby areas, so plan accordingly. **🎨 Day Two: Arts Districts** Dedicate your second day to exploring the city's creative side, starting with the Paseo Arts District, a historic neighborhood of galleries and studios housed in Spanish-style buildings. Visit the Paseo Arts Association (3024 Paseo) to pick up a map, and stop by the Paseo Grill for a casual lunch with a patio view. In the afternoon, head to the Plaza District on NW 16th Street, known for its murals and indie shops like DNA Galleries. End your day with a live performance at the Tower Theatre (425 NW 23rd St), where tickets often start at $25. **🍽️ Where to Eat** Oklahoma City's food scene is a mix of barbecue, Tex-Mex, and farm-to-table, and you'll find the best of it in the Midtown and Uptown neighborhoods. For a classic BBQ experience, try Earl's Rib Palace (3100 N Classen Blvd), where a brisket plate runs about $15 and the line moves fast. For a modern twist, head to The Jones Assembly (901 W Sheridan Ave) in the Factory Obscura area, which serves elevated American dishes and craft cocktails. Don't skip the local favorite, Nic's Grill (1201 N Pennsylvania Ave), famous for its burgers, but go early because it closes at 2:00 PM. **🏛️ Day Three: Museums** Spend your final morning at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art (415 Couch Dr), which opens at 10:00 AM and features the stunning Chihuly glass collection. Admission is $15 for adults, and you can easily spend two hours wandering the galleries. Afterward, walk to the nearby Myriad Botanical Gardens (301 W Reno Ave) for a free stroll through the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory, which costs $8 to enter. In the afternoon, visit the Science Museum Oklahoma (2020 Remington Pl), a hands-on wonderland that's perfect for all ages, with general admission at $18. **🌆 Evening Spots** When the sun goes down, head to the rooftop bar at the National, a stylish spot in the Midtown district that offers panoramic views of the skyline. For a more laid-back vibe, check out the Bleu Garten (301 NW 10th St), an outdoor beer garden with food trucks and string lights, open until 11:00 PM. If you're in the mood for live music, the Criterion (500 E Sheridan Ave) hosts national acts, and tickets can be bought at the door for around $30. Remember to book a table at the Vast (333 W Sheridan Ave) on the 49th floor of the Devon Tower for a memorable dinner with a view. **💡 Local Tips** Oklahoma City is spread out, so always check the streetcar or bus schedule before hopping between neighborhoods, especially on weekends. Many attractions offer student or senior discounts, so bring your ID to save a few dollars. The weather in 2026 can be unpredictable, so pack layers and a rain jacket, especially in spring and fall. Finally, don't be afraid to ask locals for recommendations; they're friendly and proud of their city, and you might discover a hidden gem.
