**🗺️ Day 1 Overview** Start your trip in the heart of Changhua City, where most historic sites cluster within walking distance. Begin at the Changhua Confucius Temple (address: 30, Minzu Road, open 8:30-17:00, free entry), then stroll to the nearby Baguashan Great Buddha. This area is compact, so you can cover it comfortably in a morning. **🏛️ Day 1 Afternoon** After lunch, head to the Changhua Arts Museum (address: 110, Zhongzheng Road, open 9:00-17:00, closed Mondays) to see local and contemporary exhibitions. Then walk to the historic Wukai Lane, a narrow alley lined with traditional shops and cafes. End the afternoon at the Nan Yao Visitor Center for a quick overview of the city's history. **🌃 Day 1 Evening** For dinner, explore the Yongle Night Market (open from 17:00 to midnight), where you can sample local specialties like meatballs and oyster omelets. After eating, take a short taxi ride (about 10 minutes) to the Baguashan scenic area to see the Great Buddha illuminated at night. The view over the city is especially lovely after dark. **🚌 Day 2 Transit** On day two, take a local bus (Changhua Bus route 6906) from the city center to Lukang, about 30 minutes away. Lukang is famous for its well-preserved old streets and temples, so plan to spend the whole day there. Buses run every 20 minutes from the main station, and the fare is about NT$50. **🏮 Day 2 Highlights** Start at the Lukang Longshan Temple (address: 100, Longshan Street, open 6:00-21:00, free), one of Taiwan's finest examples of traditional architecture. Then wander through the Old Street (Lukang Old Street) to see historic buildings and buy local crafts. Don't miss the Lukang Folk Arts Museum (open 9:00-17:00, admission NT$80) for a deeper look at local culture. **🍜 Day 2 Food** For lunch, try the famous Lukang oyster omelet at a stall near the Tianhou Temple, or sit down at a local restaurant like A-Zhen Meatballs (address: 108, Zhongshan Road, open 10:00-19:00). In the afternoon, sample traditional pastries from the Yushan Cake Shop (address: 12, Minzu Road), known for its mung bean cakes. These treats make great souvenirs. **🚲 Day 3 Nature** On your final day, rent a bicycle from the Changhua Station area (about NT$200 per day) and ride to the Baguashan hiking trails. The trails offer panoramic views of the city and the surrounding countryside, and the ride takes about 20 minutes. Alternatively, take a taxi to the nearby Huatan area to see the famous bamboo groves and tea plantations. **🛍️ Day 3 Shopping** Spend your last afternoon shopping for local specialties along Zhongzheng Road, where you'll find shops selling traditional Chinese medicine, tea, and handmade crafts. Stop by the Changhua Meatball Museum (address: 88, Section 2, Zhongzheng Road, open 10:00-18:00) for a quirky look at the city's signature dish, and pick up some frozen meatballs to take home. Finish with a coffee at a trendy cafe near the station before catching your train.
