**🌆 Where to Start** Begin your evening in the lively Youhao Road area, where neon signs and street food stalls set the mood. Head to the Grand Hotel Bar Street on Youhao South Road for a cluster of bars and lounges within walking distance. Most venues here open around 7 PM and stay busy until 2 AM. **🍸 Top Cocktail Bars** For craft cocktails, visit The Loft at 88 Youhao North Road, known for its speakeasy vibe and skilled mixologists. Another favorite is Bar 1920 in the Hongfu Hotel, offering classic drinks with a view of the city skyline. Expect to pay 50 to 80 RMB per cocktail, and note that smart casual dress is required. **🎶 Live Music Venues** Catch live bands at the 13th Club on Jiefang Road, which features local rock and indie acts every weekend. The venue has a cover charge of about 30 RMB and opens at 9 PM. For a more intimate setting, try the Jazz Bar in the Grand Hotel, where smooth tunes play from 8 PM to midnight. **🕺 Clubs and Dancing** The hottest dance club is V Plus on Zhongshan Road, with a spacious floor and top DJs spinning electronic and pop hits. Entry costs 50 RMB, and the club is open until 4 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. Dress code is upscale, so avoid sportswear and sneakers. **🏙️ Neighborhood Nightlife** Beyond the center, the Tianshan District offers a more laid-back scene with cozy pubs and wine bars. Check out the Beer Garden on Tuanjie Road, which features local craft brews and a relaxed outdoor terrace. The area is easily reached by metro Line 1, with the last train around 11:30 PM. **💸 Prices and Cover Charges** A standard beer costs 20 to 40 RMB, while cocktails range from 50 to 80 RMB at most bars. Cover charges for clubs vary from 30 to 100 RMB, often including one drink. Happy hours, typically from 6 to 9 PM, offer discounts on selected drinks at many venues. **🚕 Getting Home Safely** Taxis are plentiful after midnight, with a base fare of 10 RMB and about 2 RMB per kilometer. Ride-hailing apps like Didi are widely used and often cheaper than street taxis. If you stay out late, note that the metro stops running around 11:30 PM, so plan for a cab or designated driver. **📅 Late Night Hours** Most bars close around 2 AM, but clubs in the center may stay open until 4 AM on weekends. Some lounges in hotels operate 24 hours, like the Lobby Bar at the Sheraton Urumqi. Always check the venue's social media for updated hours, as they can change seasonally.
