**🏛️ Start at the Old City** Begin your visit at the Drum Tower, the historic heart of Kaifeng Chengguanzhen. Climb to the top for a panoramic view of the old city's layout, then wander the surrounding streets to soak in the Ming and Qing dynasty architecture. The tower is open daily from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and admission costs 30 RMB. **🍜 Taste Local Specialties** Don't miss the famous Kaifeng soup dumplings (xiaolongbao) at the century-old First Building Dumpling Restaurant on Gulou Street. For a quick bite, head to the night market on Xisi Street, where you can sample fried jelly, almond tea, and spicy skewers. Prices are budget-friendly, with most snacks costing between 5 and 20 RMB. **🏞️ Explore the Dragon Pavilion** Visit the Dragon Pavilion (Longting), a grand palace complex that was once the imperial palace of the Northern Song dynasty. Stroll through the gardens and climb the 72 steps to the main hall, which offers a glimpse into imperial life. It's open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and entry costs 60 RMB. **🚣 Cruise the Bian River** Take a leisurely boat ride along the Bian River, which runs through the city and was once a vital trade route. The cruise departs from the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden and lasts about 40 minutes, offering views of ancient bridges and restored buildings. Tickets are 80 RMB per person, and boats run every hour from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. **🏺 Visit the Imperial Street** Walk along the Imperial Street (Yujie), a reconstructed Song dynasty thoroughfare lined with shops selling calligraphy, paper fans, and traditional crafts. Stop by the Kaifeng Museum at the street's end to see artifacts from the Song dynasty, including ceramics and paintings. The museum is free to enter and open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closed on Mondays. **🌙 Evening Light Show** As night falls, head to the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden for its spectacular light and water show, which brings the famous Song dynasty painting to life.
