**🗺️ Day 1 Overview** Start your trip in the historic Old Town, where narrow lanes and traditional tea houses set the tone. Spend the morning at the Jianguang Museum (9 AM to 5 PM, 30 RMB), then walk to the nearby Dragon Gate Temple. Lunch at a local noodle shop on Renmin Road costs around 20 RMB. **🏛️ Day 1 Afternoon** After lunch, head to the Imperial Garden (entry 15 RMB) for a peaceful stroll among ancient pavilions. At 3 PM, catch the cultural performance at the Grand Theater (tickets from 80 RMB). End the day with dinner at the night market on West Street, open until midnight. **🌄 Day 2 Morning Hike** Day 2 begins early with a hike up Phoenix Mountain, a 30-minute bus ride from the city center (bus 7, 2 RMB). The trail is well-marked and takes about 2 hours round trip. Bring water and snacks, as there are no shops on the summit. **🎨 Day 2 Art District** Descend from the mountain and take a taxi (15 RMB) to the 798-style Art District in the east. Galleries open at 10 AM, and the area is filled with murals and studios. Grab lunch at the Art Cafe, where a sandwich and coffee cost about 45 RMB. **🚢 Day 2 Evening Cruise** In the evening, enjoy a 1-hour river cruise along the Jianguang Canal. Boats depart every 30 minutes from Pier 3 (last departure at 8 PM, 60 RMB). The illuminated bridges and old warehouses create a magical atmosphere. Dinner at a riverside restaurant averages 70 RMB per person. **🛍️ Day 3 Shopping** Day 3 is for shopping. Start at the Silk Market on Zhongshan Road, open from 9 AM to 9 PM. Bargaining is expected, so start at half the asking price. Then walk to the nearby Antique Street for unique souvenirs like jade trinkets and vintage coins. **🍜 Day 3 Food Tour** For lunch, join a food tour through the Old Town (book online at 120 RMB per person). You'll sample steamed buns, spicy tofu, and sesame pancakes at five different stalls. The tour lasts 3 hours and includes a visit to a century-old soy sauce factory. **🚌 Getting Around** Jianguang's public bus system costs 2 RMB per ride, and taxis start at 8 RMB. For a 3-day pass covering buses and metro, pay 30 RMB at any station. Walking is best in the Old Town, but use ride-hailing apps for longer distances. Plan 15 minutes between neighborhoods.
