**🗺️ Day 1: Old Town** Start your first day in Hailun's Old Town, centered around the historic Hailun Confucian Temple at 12 Wenming Street. The temple opens at 8:30 AM and costs 20 CNY, so arrive early to beat the crowds. Afterward, stroll along the adjacent pedestrian street, where you'll find traditional snack vendors and souvenir shops. **🍜 Lunch and Local Eats** For lunch, head to Laohu Noodle House at 45 Central Avenue, a local favorite for hand-pulled noodles with braised pork, priced around 25 CNY per bowl. The shop is busy between noon and 1 PM, so consider going at 11:30 AM to snag a seat. After eating, try a bowl of sweet fermented rice at the stall next door for a quick dessert. **🏛️ Afternoon Museums** Spend your afternoon at the Hailun Museum, located at 88 Renmin Road, which showcases the city's history from the Qing dynasty to the present. Admission is free, and it closes at 5 PM, so plan to arrive by 2 PM. The museum is a 15-minute walk from the noodle house, or you can take bus 2 for two stops. **🌆 Evening Riverside Walk** As the sun sets, take a leisurely walk along the Tongjiang River embankment, starting near the Hailun Bridge. The riverside promenade is lit with lanterns and features food stalls selling grilled skewers and local beer. It's a 20-minute walk from the museum, or you can grab a taxi for 10 CNY. End your evening at the riverside teahouse for a cup of jasmine tea. **🏞️ Day 2: Nature Escapes** On your second day, head to the Hailun Wetland Park, about 30 minutes by taxi from the city center, costing around 40 CNY. The park opens at 7 AM and has a 30 CNY entrance fee, with boardwalk trails that take about two hours to explore. Bring binoculars to spot migratory birds, and wear comfortable shoes for the uneven paths. **🍱 Picnic Lunch** Pack a picnic lunch from the morning market at Dongfeng Road, where you can buy fresh baozi, pickled vegetables, and seasonal fruit for under 20 CNY. Enjoy your meal at the park's designated picnic area near the lotus pond, which offers shaded benches. Remember to take your trash with you, as bins are limited. **🚌 Afternoon Hot Springs** After lunch, take bus 5 from the park's east gate to the Hailun Hot Spring Resort, a 25-minute ride that costs 2 CNY. The resort offers outdoor pools with mineral water, and a day pass is 80 CNY, including access to the sauna and rest areas. The pools are open until 9 PM, so you can relax for a few hours before heading back. **🌙 Day 3: Culture and Shopping** On your final day, visit the Hailun Folk Culture Village at 23 Xinhua Road, which opens at 9 AM and charges 15 CNY. The village features reconstructed traditional homes and live demonstrations of paper-cutting and clay sculpture. Afterward, walk to the nearby Hailun Shopping Plaza, where you can buy local handicrafts and souvenirs, with prices starting at 10 CNY.
