**🗺️ Day One: Old Town** Start your morning at the Dashiqiao Old Town, where the historic streets are best explored before the crowds. Wander through the morning market near the East Gate, then climb the Ming-era Drum Tower for a panoramic view. For lunch, try the local dumpling house at 12 Renmin Road, open from 11:00 to 14:00, with a full meal costing around 30 yuan. **🏛️ Afternoon Museums and Temples** After lunch, walk ten minutes to the Dashiqiao Museum of Local History, which is open until 17:00 and charges a 20 yuan entry fee. Nearby, the Temple of the City God offers a peaceful retreat, and you can join the 15:00 incense ceremony. Finish the afternoon with a stroll through the adjacent Lotus Pond Park, a favorite spot for locals. **🌆 Evening Riverside Stroll** As dusk falls, head to the Qing River promenade, a 20-minute walk from the old town. The riverside lights come on at 19:00, creating a lovely atmosphere for a leisurely walk. For dinner, choose a riverside noodle shop, where a bowl of hand-pulled noodles costs about 18 yuan. End the night with a cup of tea at the Teahouse on Bridge Street, open until 22:00. **🚌 Day Two: Suburban Sights** Devote your second day to the outskirts, starting with the Longshan Grottoes, a 40-minute bus ride (Bus 15) from the city center. The grottoes open at 08:30, and you should allow two hours to explore the ancient Buddhist carvings. Afterward, take a taxi (15 minutes, about 25 yuan) to the Dashiqiao Wetland Park, where boardwalks wind through reed beds. **🍜 Local Lunch and Hot Springs** For lunch, stop at the Wetland Park's farmhouse restaurant, which serves hearty local dishes like braised pork and pickled vegetables for around 40 yuan per person. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Tanghe Hot Springs, a 10-minute drive from the park. The public baths cost 60 yuan and are open until 21:00, with private rooms available for 150 yuan. **🌃 Evening in the New District** Return to the city by bus (Bus 15, 40 minutes) and spend the evening in the New District, known for its modern bars and eateries. Try the rooftop restaurant at the Grand Plaza Hotel for a view of the skyline, with mains starting at 80 yuan. If you prefer something casual, the night market on Zhongshan Road offers skewers and grilled corn from 18:00 to midnight. **🏞️ Day Three: Nature Escapes** On your final day, take a morning train (20 minutes, 12 yuan) to the nearby Phoenix Mountain, where hiking trails range from easy to challenging. The mountain is open from 08:00 to 18:00, and the cable car costs 50 yuan one-way. Pack a picnic lunch, as the summit has only a small snack stand. **🛍️ Afternoon Souvenir Shopping** After descending the mountain, return to Dashiqiao by train and spend your last afternoon shopping on Pedestrian Street. Look for local specialties like jade carvings and dried mushrooms at the covered bazaar near the north end. Bargaining is expected, so start at half the quoted price. Most shops close at 19:00, so plan your purchases before dinner.
