Sydney's Hidden Cell Secrets?

Question

So, I went to the Justice & Police Museum in Sydney last week. It was... unsettling, to say the least. I mean, the history is fascinating, obviously, but some of those cells felt...haunted? Seriously, I got a weird vibe in one particular cell, number 42 I think it was. They didn't really explain much about that one. Anyone else feel something off in there? Or am I just being a drama queen? Anyone know the real story behind cell 42 at the Justice & Police Museum?

Phillip St entrance, Tuesdays are quietest.

Number 42 was a remand cell, which is why records are thin. I've heard guides say men waited there before the trip to Darlinghurst Gaol. Ask about the graffiti scratched into the door frame next visit.

Cell 42 is just a number, but the old holding yard out back gets me more. That sandstone building was the Water Police Court from 1886, so plenty of hangings happened on site. The vibe's real, not imagined.
