Both are worth doing but they solve different problems. Huỳnh Hoa is a pâté-heavy bánh mì that sits like a brick, so don't plan a proper lunch after it. Grab one early and eat light the rest of the morning.
tbh I'd skip the special trip since Tân Trụ is more of a local lunch spot, but grab bánh canh cua somewhere nearby after.

If you're already in that District 10 pocket, the chợ Tân Định side has solid bánh xèo spots and a couple of good cà phê sữa đá places on Nguyễn Hữu Cầu. The area's more of a neighborhood wander than a destination meal. Go hungry around 11am, most stalls thin out by 1.
The bánh xèo stalls off Trần Quang Diệu hold up better past 1 than the main strip does.

where to find com tam near Quan com Nga in 2026?
Quan com Nga on Hoang Sa is more of a quick lunch spot than a sit down meal honestly. Com tam plates around there run 40k to 60k dong depending on toppings. For a proper sit down, the spots on Vo Van Tan are worth the walk.
