Best vintage shopping on Vintage Avenue in 2026?

fmd_goodVintage Avenue · #shopping
Has anyone checked out the vintage shops along Vintage Avenue lately? I'm curious which stalls are worth hitting in 2026 and whether prices have gone up much. Melrose Trading Post Sundays, cheaper than the Avenue.

Agree, but the Avenue's Saturday stalls are worth it.

Stalls past the Fairfax corner thin out by 11, so hit the north end first before the good stuff gets picked over.

North end before 9, or skip it entirely.

Thursday mornings, vendors restock then.

The row past the La Brea corner is where the real denim deals hide, though asking prices have crept up maybe 15 percent since last spring.

yeah saturday's still the move but go early, by noon it's mostly picked over. bring cash too, half those vendors won't do card & the atm line is brutal

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Cash only til 10, card after.

Cheaper yes, but half the vendors there are resellers who bought out the Avenue on Saturday morning anyway.

Different crowd though, more curated and priced accordingly.

Bowmont Beverly Hills hotel: safe area to walk at night in 2026?

Is it fine to walk toward the restaurants on Canon Dr or should I just grab a rideshare? Also, how late do things stay open nearby?

canon dr is fine, just cut over on wilshire

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

yeah wilshire's teh move, rideshare after midnight tho

Wilshire works but the stretch of Brighton Way between Canon and Beverly is quieter and better lit if you're walking back late.

arrow_drop_up 19 arrow_drop_down
Image evchen local ·

Dayton Way is the better parallel anyway, wider sidewalks and the 10pm foot traffic from Via Alloro keeps it feeling alive.

Brighton's fine but the alley behind it gets sketchy past 11, so stick to the street side near Gagosian.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Reeves corner gets dark, cut over at Elm

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Elm cuts you over to the lit part of the alley too

The blocks around Crescent and Peck are dead quiet after nine, so walk the lit side and you'll be fine.

honestly the crosswalk at Santa Monica and Beverly is where I'd be more careful, drivers run that left turn late. most spots on Canon close by 10 or 11 anyway so after that it's just the hotel bar.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Image irmela local ·

yep, though the side streets go dark fast after 9
