🌴 Day 1: Downtown and Waterfront
Start your day at the Long Beach Museum of Art (2300 E Ocean Blvd), open 11am to 5pm Thursday to Sunday, admission $10. Then walk to Shoreline Village for lunch at Parker's Lighthouse, where a seafood platter runs about $25. In the afternoon, explore the Aquarium of the Pacific (100 Aquarium Way), open 9am to 6pm daily, tickets $44.95 for adults. End the day with a sunset stroll along the Pine Avenue Pier and dinner at The Attic (3441 E Broadway), a local favorite for comfort food.

🚢 Morning: East Village Arts
Begin day two in the East Village Arts District, home to independent galleries and coffee shops. Grab a latte at Rose Park Roasters (3044 E 4th St) for about $5, then browse the monthly art walk if it's the second Saturday. The area is compact and walkable, so you can cover it in two hours. From downtown, take the Passport bus (free) or walk 15 minutes to reach 4th Street.

🍽️ Afternoon: Retro Row
Head to Retro Row on 4th Street between Cherry and Junipero avenues for vintage shopping and lunch. Try Number Nine (2118 E 4th St) for Vietnamese noodles, around $12, open 11am to 9pm. The area is about a 10-minute drive from East Village, or a 20-minute ride on the 111 bus. After shopping, stop at Portfolio Coffeehouse (2300 E 4th St) for a pastry and people-watching.

🌊 Evening: Belmont Shore
For your second evening, head to Belmont Shore on 2nd Street, a lively strip with restaurants and bars. Have dinner at Open Sesame (5215 E 2nd St), known for Lebanese garlic chicken at about $18, open until 10pm. Then catch a show at the Gaslamp Restaurant and Bar (6251 E Pacific Coast Hwy) or simply walk to the Belmont Pier for ocean views. From Retro Row, it's a 15-minute drive or a 25-minute ride on the 131 bus.

🚒 Day 3: Queen Mary and Shoreline
Spend your final morning touring the Queen Mary (1126 Queens Hwy), open 10am to 6pm, admission $35 for adults. The historic ship offers self-guided tours and occasional ghost tours. Afterward, walk to the nearby Shoreline Aquatic Park for a picnic lunch from Shoreline Village. The area is a 10-minute walk from the Downtown Long Beach Station on the A Line.

🌳 Afternoon: Naples and Canals
In the afternoon, explore the Naples Island canals by kayak or gondola. Rent a kayak from Kayaks on the Water (5411 E Ocean Blvd) for $20 per hour, or take a gondola ride for about $100 per couple. The area is a 15-minute drive from the Queen Mary, or you can take the 121 bus. Walk along the canals and admire the waterfront homes, then grab a gelato at Frosted (5335 E 2nd St).

πŸŒ‡ Sunset and Departure
Wrap up your trip with sunset at Bluff Park (Ocean Blvd between Cherry and Junipero), a scenic spot with palm trees and ocean views. For a final meal, try The Breakfast Bar (70 Atlantic Ave) for dinner specials, or grab a slice at Big E Pizza (3222 E Broadway). If you're flying out, Long Beach Airport (LGB) is a 15-minute drive from downtown, and the A Line connects to downtown Los Angeles in about 50 minutes.

🚌 Getting Around
Long Beach is fairly spread out, so plan on using a mix of walking, biking, and public transit. The A Line (formerly Blue Line) runs from downtown to LA and connects to the Passport bus, which is free and circulates downtown and to the Queen Mary. For Belmont Shore and Naples, buses 121, 131, and 111 run frequently, with fares at $1.75 per ride or $5 for a day pass. Rideshares are also plentiful, with typical fares between neighborhoods around $10 to $15.

the attic is a good call, their mac and cheese is unreal. if u go to retro row on a sunday most of the vintage spots open late, like noon. also the passport bus is free but only runs till around 6ish

Solid plan, though I'd swap the Queen Mary for a harbor cruise if the ship's tours are sold out. Also check the Aquarium's late summer hours, they sometimes run until 8pm on Fridays.

that napels gondola thing is way cheaper if u book a shared ride instead of private, like $30 a person
