honestly i'd skip the tasting menu and just do a la carte at the bar, better value and u still get the room.
bar menu's cheaper before 7 too
worth knowing the pre-7 discount only applies at the bar counter, not the tables, so u cant sit down and get it
yeah the bar seats go fast after 6:30 though so turn up early or u end up standing
Agree, but check the bar menu changes daily so the a la carte value depends on which night u go.
good point on the daily changes. wednesdays are usually the weaker night if u ask me, fish-heavy and a bit samey. thurs to sat is when the bar menu's actually worth the trip.

Pretty sure the old Sunny Deli lot run a stall at Ridley Road market on Saturdays, same salt beef recipe.
Same recipe maybe, but you'll pay half what the high street charged and they sell out by early afternoon.
Beigel Bake on Brick Lane, salt beef's better there anyway

fair but brick lane's a trek if ur not already east. the one on golders green road does a solid salt beef sandwich & theres never a queue past 9. not the same, but it scratches the itch
golders green road one is decent but they switched to a different cure last year, bit sweeter than it used to be. still worth it if ur up that way, just dont expect the old thing
