Sunny Deli too busy in 2026? Best times to go
before 11 is fine tbh, but i'd just walk 5 mins to the deli on leather lane instead, same sandwiches & no queue
Leather Lane one shut in January, sadly.
yeah that one's gone now, the hatton garden spot does the same salt beef & the queue moves quicker
Salt beef's better there anyway. Get in before noon.
Closes at 3 on Saturdays, that catches people out.
There's also the Exmouth Market one, quieter and the salt beef's just as good.
That one's gone as of this year mate, so it's Hatton Garden or nothing unless you fancy the walk up to the Angel end.

their site's often a week behind tbh, ringing the desk on a friday is the safer bet
ringing works but they only pick up after 11 on weekdays, before that it's just the answerphone
Honestly the friday call is worth it just to dodge a wasted trip, though last time they told me the whole weekend slot was blocked for a private thing.
Went in last month, still prints but the programme's shifted to more photography, and Saturdays they close at 4 so go before lunch.
Yeah the 4pm thing caught me out too
Photography room upstairs is the bit worth the detour
