Stylish and trendy.
Decent quality (not falling apart after a couple of washes).
Reasonably priced, without spending a fortune.
Do you have any go to places, hidden gems, or tips for shopping here (not Shein)? I've checked out a few malls, but some stores are either way out of my budget or feel like they don't match my style. 😅
Also, do you feel like it's hard to find clothes that fit well and work together as outfits? Or is it just me overthinking it? 🤔

Check out the malls in the older areas, like Bur Dubai or Deira. You can find some seriously cool stuff for way less than in the fancier malls. Also, keep an eye out for sales, they're everywhere in Dubai.
You should hit up the Karama area, specifically the little boutiques tucked behind the main market. They carry a lot of trendy pieces that aren't branded but look the part, and you can haggle a bit if you're buying multiple items. I've also had good luck at Brands for Less, the one on Sheikh Zayed Road has a surprisingly decent selection of casual dresses and tops that hold up well. For fitting, it's not just you, sizing here is all over the place, so I'd recommend sticking to places with a fitting room or a solid exchange policy.
the outlet malls are ur best friend honestly. dubai outlet mall on al ain road has decent stuff if u dig through the racks, and brands like splash and max in deira are solid for basics that actually last. for trendier pieces try the weekend markets like rummble or the one at the pointe, u can find cute stuff from local sellers for 50-100 dirhams. fitting is tricky here ngl, a lot of stuff runs small or oversized so i always check the return policy before buying

damn u basically did a free taxi run to rak. thing is they usually target cars with a single guy driving & look for dubai plates so u look like u got somewhere to be. best move is roll ur window down like two inches, say u already called the cops for them & keep moving, dont even unlock the door
yeah that's a known one on e311 & the sharjah ring road, usually they wave you down near the adnoc or before the rta cameras claiming wallet got lifted. classic play is they ask for a lift to the next emirate then bail once you slow down, sometimes a second guy on a bike is tracking you. next time just call 999 or drop them at the nearest police point, don't let anyone in your car off the highway ngl
The RAK route is the tell. No one genuinely stranded on the ring road needs to get all the way to Ras Al Khaimah, that's a 90 minute drive. These guys work in pairs and the second car picks them up after they hop out, usually somewhere past the Al Sajaa junction or near the ADNOC on E311. If it happens again, tell them you'll drive them to the nearest police station and watch how fast the story changes.
