honestly the other person's got the main points right. one thing i'd add tho is check if she can get the saudi e-visa while still inside the uae. i think she can apply online from here, no need to exit first. just make sure her uae visa is still valid when she applies, they sometimes check that. and for the re-entry part, get the new uae visa sorted before she flies back from saudi. it's easier than stressing at the airport.

Yeah, that plan works, but there's a catch. She doesn't apply for a separate "umrah visa" from Dubai. Instead, she'll need to exit the UAE, fly to Saudi on a standard tourist visa (Indians can get an e-visa for Saudi), do umrah, then fly back to Dubai and get a fresh UAE tourist visa on arrival. The Saudi e-visa is valid for one year and multiple entries, so it's actually more flexible than a one-time umrah visa from India.

Just double-check the UAE visa rules when she re-enters. For Indian passport holders, you usually get a 14-day visa on arrival, but that only applies if you've got a valid US, UK, or Schengen visa. Otherwise, she'll need to apply for a new UAE tourist visa through a travel agency before flying back. That takes a couple of days and costs around AED 300 to 400, so factor that in. Also, make sure her passport has at least six months validity, both Saudi and UAE check that strictly.

Dubai/Sharjah Road Scam?

I helped a guy stranded on the ring road, gave him a ride to Ras Al Khaima after he claimed to have lost his wallet. Turns out he was fine, just jumped out and vanished. Did I get played? damn u basically did a free taxi run to rak. thing is they usually target cars with a single guy driving & look for dubai plates so u look like u got somewhere to be. best move is roll ur window down like two inches, say u already called the cops for them & keep moving, dont even unlock the door

yeah that's a known one on e311 & the sharjah ring road, usually they wave you down near the adnoc or before the rta cameras claiming wallet got lifted. classic play is they ask for a lift to the next emirate then bail once you slow down, sometimes a second guy on a bike is tracking you. next time just call 999 or drop them at the nearest police point, don't let anyone in your car off the highway ngl

The RAK route is the tell. No one genuinely stranded on the ring road needs to get all the way to Ras Al Khaimah, that's a 90 minute drive. These guys work in pairs and the second car picks them up after they hop out, usually somewhere past the Al Sajaa junction or near the ADNOC on E311. If it happens again, tell them you'll drive them to the nearest police station and watch how fast the story changes.
