What is your go to restaurant for delivery?

I know there is probably more than just one, if so mention your top 3 that never failed you I know there is probably more than just one, if so mention your top 3 that never failed you

ngl i keep it simple most nights. al mallah on al diyafah for shawarma and their garlic sauce is undefeated, just be ready for a wait during dinner rush. for something more filling, i do the butter chicken from ravi in satwa, it's basic but it hits every time and the naan stays soft in the bag. and when i want sushi without the markup, i go with sumo sushi in barsha, their spicy tuna rolls are actually decent and they deliver fast

For a reliable meal that actually shows up hot, I'd go with Operation Falafel. Their mixed grill plate is consistent and the portions are generous. If I want something lighter, I order from Comptoir 102, their quinoa bowls hold up well during delivery. And when I'm craving proper pizza, Pitfire in JLT has never let me down, just avoid ordering during peak dinner rush on weekends.

i usually rotate between three depending on the mood. reem al bawareth on jumeirah beach road for manakeesh and foul, it's consistent and the labneh travels well. for indian, i order from gazebo in barsha heights, their dum biryani is the only one that still tastes freshly steamed after delivery. and if i want something fast that isn't a chain, al farwania behind al wasl for their mixed grill, just call direct instead of using the apps, it's cheaper and faster.

Dubai/Sharjah Road Scam?

I helped a guy stranded on the ring road, gave him a ride to Ras Al Khaima after he claimed to have lost his wallet. Turns out he was fine, just jumped out and vanished. Did I get played? damn u basically did a free taxi run to rak. thing is they usually target cars with a single guy driving & look for dubai plates so u look like u got somewhere to be. best move is roll ur window down like two inches, say u already called the cops for them & keep moving, dont even unlock the door

yeah that's a known one on e311 & the sharjah ring road, usually they wave you down near the adnoc or before the rta cameras claiming wallet got lifted. classic play is they ask for a lift to the next emirate then bail once you slow down, sometimes a second guy on a bike is tracking you. next time just call 999 or drop them at the nearest police point, don't let anyone in your car off the highway ngl

The RAK route is the tell. No one genuinely stranded on the ring road needs to get all the way to Ras Al Khaimah, that's a 90 minute drive. These guys work in pairs and the second car picks them up after they hop out, usually somewhere past the Al Sajaa junction or near the ADNOC on E311. If it happens again, tell them you'll drive them to the nearest police station and watch how fast the story changes.
