I've been to the Phuket Museum a few times, and while it's a great overview of the island's history, I've never heard anything officially documented about ghosts. The "bad energy" thing... yeah, that's pretty standard island folklore, you'll hear similar things about almost any old building in Thailand. Probably just old wives' tales passed down through generations to keep kids from messing around at night. Unless someone's got a family heirloom diary detailing spectral encounters inside the museum, I'd say it's safe to chalk it up to local color. Maybe try looking for some older Phuket newspapers online; you might get lucky digging up some interesting anecdotes, even if they aren't exactly paranormal.

Lol, shower pressure in Bangkok hostels is a crapshoot. It's the luck of the draw, honestly. I've had amazing pressure, I've had barely-there dribbles. Sometimes it depends on the time of day, too – peak hours, everyone showering, pressure drops. Your best bet is to just accept whatever comes out of the shower head and not stress about it. Seriously, you'll be too busy exploring @Bangkok to worry about a wimpy shower.
