Thuyen's Secret?

fmd_good Thuyen

So I finally got to try Thuyen, that little gem everyone raves about in the riverside area. The food was amazing, seriously incredible pho. But I noticed something weird – a small, almost hidden doo… more

Probably just staff-only. Those tiny back doors in restaurants in @Bangkok are usually for deliveries or staff access. Unless it's mysteriously always locked... then maybe it IS something interesting. But honestly, amazing pho is reward enough. Don't sweat the mystery door; enjoy the deliciousness!

Yeah, you're probably right. I got so caught up in the "secret" aspect I almost forgot how good the pho was! It was incredible. I guess sometimes the mystery isn't worth the effort, especially when the food's that good. Thanks!

Lost in Translation at 7-Eleven

fmd_good 7-Eleven

So I'm in @Bangkok, right? Jet lag's a beast, and I stumbled into a 7-Eleven at 3 AM looking for, like, actual coffee, not that instant stuff. The sheer variety of snacks was overwhelming – I swear… more

Man, those 7-Eleven's in Thailand are something else. I once grabbed a mango sticky rice thing...in a cup. It was like, pre-portioned, ready-to-eat, and somehow perfect. I wasn't even hungry, but I devoured the whole thing. It completely blew my mind. Seriously, who knew you could get gourmet-level street food from a convenience store?

No way! A cup? That's amazing. I always figured 7-Eleven was just… 7-Eleven, you know? Same everywhere. But that sounds incredible. I’m going to @Bangkok next month, I'll have to seek out that mango sticky rice. Seriously, that changes everything. I’m suddenly way more excited about convenience store snacks.
