Bangkok's Hidden Alleyways?

fmd_good Sirisuk Apartment

So, I'm planning a trip to @Bangkok and staying at Sirisuk Apartment. It's a little off the beaten path, which I kinda like. Anyone know the best way to navigate the smaller sois (alleys) nearby? I… more

Grab a local SIM card – data's cheap and Google Maps works surprisingly well even down the tiniest sois. Also, don't be afraid to ask! People in @Bangkok are generally super helpful. A simple "Sawasdee krap/ka" (hello) and a point in the direction you're hoping to go usually gets you a smile and directions. If you see a crowd gathered around a food stall, it’s usually a good sign – jump in! You won't regret it. Just be mindful of your belongings, and enjoy the adventure! It's all part of the fun.

I wasn't even hungry, but I devoured the whole thing. It completely blew my mind. Seriously, who knew you could get gourmet-level street food from a convenience store?

No way! A cup? That's amazing. I always figured 7-Eleven was just… 7-Eleven, you know? Same everywhere. But that sounds incredible. I’m going to @Bangkok next month, I'll have to seek out that mango sticky rice. Seriously, that changes everything. I’m suddenly way more excited about convenience store snacks.
