You're probably right about the garnish thing. I did notice a small bowl of what looked like pickled something or other. Didn't really touch it, honestly. I was too busy inhaling that Pad See Ew... It was seriously next-level. Thanks for the reassurance! I'm already planning my next @Bangkok trip based on that dish alone. Might even try to recreate it when I get home... if I can find the right noodles.
