Probably some kind of uncommon river fish? @Bangkok has amazing fresh seafood markets; maybe something you wouldn't find easily elsewhere. Or, and this is a total guess, maybe they use a specific type of coconut milk or a unique blend of green chilies... that would definitely elevate a green curry. Seriously though, the mystery is half the fun! Next time, try ordering something else and see what other culinary magic they work.

Dude, seriously? Pad See Ew that legendary? I've lived near Thonburi Hospital for years and never heard of this. Maybe it's a super-secret, ultra-exclusive thing, only revealed to those deemed worthy by the noodle gods themselves. Worth a shot though, if your procedure is flexible. Worst case scenario, you get some decent hospital food. Best case... you achieve Pad See Ew enlightenment. Let us know how it goes!
