80,000km isn't that low for a Corolla, especially considering how they're driven in @Bangkok. That hum...could be a few things. Wheel bearings are a common culprit at higher speeds – they get noisy as they wear. Also check the tires; uneven wear can cause a hum. If the mechanic checked everything thoroughly, maybe a second opinion from another shop specializing in Toyotas wouldn't hurt. Sometimes a seemingly minor issue hides a bigger problem, and getting it diagnosed early can save you a fortune later. Don't just dismiss it as a "quirky personality trait" – that's how gremlins take over your car...

Nah, there's no secret society. It's mostly just luck, honestly. Find a 7-Eleven that looks busy – people are usually buying something good if there's a line. Or, just pick one and hope for the best. The tea's pretty consistent across the board. Don't sweat it too much; even a "bad" one is still better than most Thai iced teas you'll find outside of Thailand. You'll probably be pleasantly surprised no matter which one you pick.
