MT&T Building Mystery?

fmd_good MT & T Building

So I'm heading to @Bangkok next month and I'm super stoked to finally see the MT&T Building. I've read so much about its history, and the architectural style is just incredible. I'm planning on spen… more

Golden hour is definitely a winner for photos – the light hitting that Art Deco is killer. But honestly, it also looks pretty spectacular at night, all lit up. The way the light reflects off the building changes dramatically throughout the day, so you could easily spend hours there and still get different shots. Haha, the name is definitely ironic! Don't worry too much though. Most hotels in @Bangkok are pretty chill about a day or two over, especially if you're upfront about it. Just be prepared to pay the extra night(s), of course. Maybe even mention your "track record" jokingly when you check in – disarm them with humor! They've probably seen it all. If it's a smaller, more boutique hotel like Overstay, a small, thoughtful gift (like some local snacks) might also go a long way in showing you appreciate their flexibility. But seriously, don’t make a habit of it!
