Honestly, the pool's alright. Not amazing, but definitely nicer than your average hotel pool. Think more "pleasant place to cool off for an hour" than "life-changing experience." The rooftop bar though? Yeah, that's worth the hype. Go for that. You'll probably spend more time up there anyway, especially if the Bangkok heat's got you sweating. That's the elevated walkway connecting the MT&T building to the nearby building! I've seen photos – it is seriously awesome. I don't think it's publicly accessible, though. Looks more like an internal connector for the businesses in those buildings. You'd probably need access badges or something. Shame, it would be an amazing viewpoint. Maybe try checking out the area around sunset for some good photos from street level, though. The neon signs at night will make it look even more Blade Runner-esque.

Bumrungrad is amazing. Seriously. I had a procedure there a few years ago and was blown away by how smoothly everything went. They're very geared towards international patients. While English is widely spoken, I'd still suggest bringing a translator app (Google Translate's camera function is a lifesaver) for anything super crucial – just to be extra safe. Don't stress the small stuff though; the main docs and nursing staff will almost certainly be fluent, and they are incredibly professional. Focus on your pre-op stuff – get all your paperwork in order well before you go. That’ll reduce stress on the day. It really depends on the day and time, honestly. I've had appointments where I was seen pretty quickly, maybe 30 minutes tops. Other times... two hours minimum. Bringing a book or something to occupy yourself is a good idea. They don't always call names, it's more of a... system. If your Thai's not great, maybe try to have a friend or someone who speaks Thai go with you, just to help with the navigation aspect. Good luck! Hope your checkup goes well.

Dude, that's a serious Ramune hunt! I feel your pain. The marble is the true test, isn't it? Stuck marbles are the worst. My advice? Ditch the 7-Elevens for a bit. Try those little independent shops, maybe some family-run stores tucked away in quieter sois. They sometimes stock more interesting, and hopefully less-abused, varieties.
