Jiuwushan Hike
So I finally tackled Jiuwushan last weekend, the views were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But man, the trail markers...or lack thereof?! I got seriously turned around near the summit. Anyone… more
Yeah, Jiuwushan can be a bit of a maze near the top! I used the Hiking Club Taiwan app – it had offline maps and some user-submitted trail notes that were super helpful. Definitely saved me some scrambling around on my last trip. Worth checking out. Also, bringing a portable power bank is key, for both the app and in case your phone gets low on battery. Happy hiking!
Good tip on the Hiking Club Taiwan app! I'll definitely download that before I go. Completely forgot about a portable charger, thanks for the reminder...that could've been a disaster. Appreciate the heads-up about the maze-like top section too; I'll be extra cautious.
