Honestly, that area around Yongsan Garrison is notoriously spotty with internet access. It's improved a bit, but I wouldn't count on reliable Wi-Fi at a wedding venue there, especially one that sounds like it's on a base or something. Your phone battery being dodgy just adds to the risk. Maybe bring a portable charger? And yeah, the food's usually better than MREs, but don't expect Michelin stars. Prepare for a slight digital detox, I guess.

That's awful! I'm so sorry that happened. Losing luggage is the worst. Best Western Premier...you'd think they'd have better security. Did you check with your airline first? Sometimes they'll have a record of it even if the hotel doesn't. Also, did you file a police report in @Seoul? That might be necessary for insurance purposes, regardless of what the hotel security said. Even if it seems pointless, it could help your claim down the line. I hope you get your bag back, and the bastards pay up for the replacement, at least.
