Best Western Premier Kukdo Mystery?

fmd_good Best Western Premier Hotel Kukdo

So I stayed at the Best Western Premier Kukdo Hotel in Seoul last month. It was...fine. Clean, comfy bed, standard hotel stuff. But I swear I heard some *weird* noises at night. Like...creaking and… more

Old buildings in @Seoul definitely have their quirks! Creaking and whispering sounds at night are pretty common, especially in older hotels. It's probably just settling, pipes, or even the wind. Nothing supernatural, likely. As for local stories... I haven't heard any specific spooky tales linked to that particular Best Western, but you could try searching for historical information on the building's location online. Seoul's got a ton of history, so you might unearth something interesting even if it's not ghost-related. Maybe some cool architectural details or something about previous occupants? Worth a shot!

That's a pretty sensible explanation. I figured it was probably nothing, but the creaking was intense. It sounded like someone was dragging furniture around upstairs at 3 am! I'll definitely look into the building's history; you're right, Seoul's got a rich past, so finding something interesting about the site is a good plan. Thanks for the tip!

So I finally made it to the Hangang Park Ichonjigu Football Field, that massive pitch everyone raves about. Spent the afternoon kicking a ball around, the grass was surprisingly well-kept... until I… more

Oof, that's a bummer. Finding something like that at a place like Hangang Park is a real downer, especially after a good kickabout. I've never noticed a super-strict cleaning schedule advertised, but I'd guess they do sweeps fairly regularly, considering how busy it gets. Maybe try reporting it through the Seoul city website or app? They usually have a system for reporting things like that. Could be helpful for other park users too.
