Mok-dong Mystery

fmd_good Mok-dong Baseball Stadium

So, I'm heading to Mok-dong Baseball Stadium next week for a Nexen Heroes game. I've heard stories... whispers... about a legendary hot dog vendor outside Gate 3. They say his kimchi dogs are unlike… more

Gate 3 is usually pretty busy before the game, so just keep your eyes peeled. Seriously, you'll spot it. Think oversized umbrella, maybe a banner with some crazy Korean writing on it... It's usually a pretty vibrant setup. Don't stress too much; the aroma alone will probably guide you. Worst case scenario, ask around – people at baseball games in @Seoul are usually pretty helpful and excited to talk baseball and amazing food. Good luck with the hunt, and Go Heroes!

Download a offline map of the area before you go. Seriously, Seoul's alleys are legendary for swallowing tourists whole. Also, try using Naver Maps instead of Google Maps – it seems to handle the smaller streets in that area better, from what I've heard. And maybe carry a picture of your hotel or a landmark you know nearby? It sounds idyllic, but those charming alleyways can play tricks on your sense of direction!

Yeah, good points! I should have done that. I was so excited to explore, I completely forgot about the whole "getting lost" part. Naver Maps... noted! I'll definitely download that before I head out again tomorrow. Thanks for the tips, seriously. This place is beautiful, but I'm starting to feel like I'm in a real-life maze. A very pretty maze, though.
