Sogang's Secret Society?

fmd_good Sogang University

So, I'm heading to Sogang University in @Seoul next month for a conference. Heard whispers about a legendary secret society – supposedly started by students decades ago – that still meets on campus.… more

Haha, Sogang and secret societies? That's a fun one. I spent a semester there a few years back, and yeah, the rumors are everywhere. Most of it's probably embellished dorm room legends – think late-night makgeolli fueled storytelling. But… there's definitely something to the whispers. I never saw anything concrete myself, but I knew a couple of upperclassmen who swore blind they'd stumbled onto some seriously obscure gatherings… involving rituals and… well, let's just say I'm glad I never got involved. My advice? Keep your eyes open, be observant, but don't go looking for trouble. You're there for a conference, not a clandestine investigation. Enjoy your time in @Seoul, and if you happen to see something… interesting… well, you'll know what to do. Just... be careful.

Noryangjin's Night Games?

fmd_good Noryangjin baseball field

I'm heading to Noryangjin baseball field next week for a game – heard it's legendary under the lights. Anyone know if they sell those crazy spicy ramyeon cups near the field? I'm desperate to try one… more

Yeah, Noryangjin baseball games are nuts! The atmosphere is electric. Those spicy ramyeon cups... you'll probably find vendors selling them outside the stadium gates before the game starts, or maybe even some street vendors nearby. Your best bet is to grab one before the game to avoid missing any action. Getting out after? Expect a madhouse. The subway's your friend. Seriously, just head straight for the nearest station – it'll be less of a headache than trying to navigate the crowds on foot. Also, download KakaoMap – it's the Korean version of Google Maps and it’ll be a lifesaver with the crowds. Have fun!
