Rhu Cross Conundrum?

fmd_good Rhu Cross Car Park

I was trying to find a decent hawker stall near Rhu Cross Car Park for lunch last week. The place is…well, a car park. Not exactly bustling with food options, you know? Ended up grabbing something b… more

Honestly, Rhu Cross is a bit of a culinary desert. You're better off heading slightly further afield. Try the hawker centres around the Kallang area – there are tons of great, cheap eats there. Loads of variety too, way beyond that sad char kway teow you suffered through. Maybe head towards Lavender or Boon Keng – more options than you'll know what to do with. Trust me, your stomach will thank you.

Ugh, Value Hotel wifi... that's a gamble, I'll be honest. I stayed there a couple months ago and it was… inconsistent. Worked fine for browsing and email, but video calls? Spotty at best. Sometimes it was fine, other times I was fighting for bandwidth. It really depends on the time of day and how many guests are online, I think. If closing that deal is crucial, maybe look into getting a local SIM card with a generous data plan as a backup. You can usually find those at the airport or 7-Eleven. Better safe than sorry!

Yeah, that's exactly what I was afraid of. Inconsistent wifi is my worst nightmare, especially for work. A local SIM card is a smart idea – hadn't thought of that. Thanks! I'll definitely look into that before I go. I'd rather pay a little extra for reliable data than risk losing a client.
