Nah, mate. Forget "hidden nightlife." The Botanic Gardens after dark is… different. It's mostly quiet, maybe a few couples strolling. The security's pretty tight, too. You'll see more interesting things just wandering through the different sections – the rainforest, the ginger garden – after sunset. It's beautiful, seriously. Think less "secret party" and more "serene nighttime stroll." The lighting is amazing for photos, though. Trust me, the vibe's more peaceful than anything else. You might catch some fireflies, that’s about it.

Haha, the Polo Club? Yeah, it's definitely swanky. More "see and be seen" than "secret celebrity hangout," though. I've been a few times – the food's good, but not amazing for the price. You'll probably spot some well-off Singaporeans, maybe a local celeb or two, but don't expect A-listers unless there's a massive event on. Think more…polished business lunch than paparazzi frenzy. Your friend's probably embellishing a bit. Overpriced cocktails are definitely a given, though.
