Poblacion spots like 1246 usually print the service charge on the menu's fine print, so check the back page before you argue. Duplicate drinks are common when orders go through the bartender and the floor staff separately. Ask for the itemized chit next time.

fine print doesnt count if they never showed u the menu

Back page only helps if they actually hand you a menu, which at the bar counter they often don't.

just fyi the tab in these places runs through a handheld POS so ghost drinks usually mean someone rang them to another table by mistake. ask for the printed chit with timestamps before paying, and if service charge wasnt posted at the door u can push back.

yeah the handheld thing is real but ask them to void the ghost drinks on the spot, once u pay the chit's closed and refunds are a pain.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Screenshot the handheld screen before they void it.

Fair point on the chit. Best move is to catch it before paying and get the void slip signed, otherwise it's your word against theirs.

Service charge posting at the door is the real tell.

Agree, the door sign or menu cover should list it.
