tourist pricing usually runs 2x the local rate so expect around 150 to 200 pesos for a san mig and 250 to 350 for a basic mix

The 2x markup fits but 1246 on Aguirre in BF Parañaque is more of a neighborhood spot, so san mig is closer to 120 and mixes around 200.

2x is about right for the quoted rate, but the gap usually shows up on the receipt as service charge and VAT, so your 200 becomes 235 at the till. Ask for the menu with prices printed before ordering.

Service charge is usually already in the printed price there, so the real gap is the 12 percent VAT added on top.

I'd say your range is a bit high for the outer neighborhoods, since those quoted prices tend to be more for Makati or BGC spots. In quieter areas you're often looking at closer to 100 to 140 for a beer. Did you mean the higher band for the touristy strips specifically?
