I noticed the menu has one price for locals and another for visitors, so what's the actual going rate for a rice meal there in 2026? Just want to know what I should be paying instead of the tourist price.

Zeny's isn't really a two-tier menu place, so just pay the posted price, around 60 to 90 pesos for a rice meal.

arrow_drop_up 9 arrow_drop_down

yeah 60 to 90 sounds right, just check the posted board since teh "visitor price" thing is usually just a rumor.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Usually it's the turo-turo spots that pull that, not the fastfood chains.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

The posted board is often handwritten and changes weekly, so snap a photo before ordering to avoid disputes.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Ask to see teh posted board first.

arrow_drop_up -1 arrow_drop_down

60 to 90 fits, saw 75 at a stall near Quiapo last week.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

Sounds about right, 70 at the Carriedo side.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Can't speak for Zeny's specifically, but the two-price thing isn't common in Manila fastfood. If they do charge you more, it's usually because you ordered from a picture menu. Ask for the regular board or just point at what the person ahead of you got.

Pointing at what the next customer orders works everywhere, though the picture menus in Ermita tourist spots do run 30 to 50 pesos more.

If u end up in bgc instead of makati, try the shakes at the weekend market near bonifacio high street, 120 to 180 pesos. in makati, the stalls inside landmark food hall are cheaper than the cafes. bring cash, some stalls dont take cards

wildflour on arnaiz, weekday afternoons

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

great shakes corp is more of a b2b supplier than a walk in shake shop tbh so dont expect a counter you can stroll into in makati. for actual milkshakes around there, places like wildflour or the smaller cafes along salvador and perea do decent ones, usually 150 to 250 pesos depending on size & add ins. id skip chasing the great shakes name unless ur after bulk mix

yeah this has been asked a thousand times and the answer never changes: skip the supplier and just hit the cafes, why are you even asking on a Q&A site.
