Carry small bills since eateries rarely break a 1000 peso note, and BDO branches in Ermita exchange foreign currency faster than most banks.

Good call on the small bills, though I'd add that eateries like this often round to the nearest 20 so keep coins handy too.

Went once on a Tuesday around 9am, got a seat no problem. The hot americano was solid but I'd skip the flavored lattes, too sweet. If u want tea, the oolong milk tea beats most chains nearby.
