i went last year, it's decent for the price but more of a local canteen vibe than a destination. the sisig and the grilled stuff near the back are the safe bets, skip anything sitting out too long. 1pm weekday is peak lunch so expect a short wait for seats.

Agree on the canteen vibe, its not a tourist spot. The kakanin stall near the entrance is worth grabbing for dessert, cheap and usually fresh. Bring wipes, the tables get greasy fast.

Skip the obvious rice stalls and look for the one selling batchoy and goto, way better value. Seating fills fast so claim a table before ordering. Bring small bills, teh vendors rarely break a 500.

Go earlier, around 11:30, before the office crowd hits and the pans are still fresh.

yeah 11:30 is the move, by noon the line snakes past the ihaw stalls. aim for a stall that just swapped in a fresh tray, ask the ate behind the counter which one's newest.

11:30 works but the good batchoy stall opens late

Manila dating scene 2026, where do people actually meet?

Moving to Manila in a few months and honestly curious how dating works there. Do people mostly meet through friends, apps, or random spots like casual eateries? What surprised you most about the norms… Moving to Manila in a few months and honestly curious how dating works there.
