Which stalls there are actually worth lining up for, and what should I expect to pay for a full meal? Also, is it mostly cash only or do most stalls take cards now?

I was there last year and the grilled seafood stalls near the back are what I'd go out of my way for, especially the ones doing fresh tilapia and squid. Lunch rush hits hard around noon so go at 11 or after 2. Cards are hit or miss, some of the bigger stalls have GCash QR codes now which is handy if you don't want to carry much cash.

Bring small bills, since most stalls are still cash only and the good ones like the sisig and lechon spots run around 150 to 250 pesos for a full meal.

Ask for suki price, they round down.

Twenty-peso coins vanish first, stallholders rarely break a five hundred.

Went last year, the sisig is what u want there, get it sizzling. Prices were around 90 to 120 pesos then so its proper cheap. Place gets packed by noon so go early.

Second this, add a calamansi juice with it.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

yep calamansi juice is the move, cuts thru the grease nicely. fwiw i'd ask for extra rice too, portions are smallish for hungry days. cash only still as far as i know

Prices have crept up a bit since then, closer to 130 now, but the sisig still earns it, and ask for it on the side so it stays crispy.

tapsilog at 7am before the office crowd

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

by 8 it's standing room only so yeah, early is the move, and the longganisa sells out first

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

longganisa really does go first, get there before 7

arrow_drop_up 6 arrow_drop_down

honestly last time i passed by i just got the tapsilog and it hit. not fancy but that's kinda the point. price was around 100 pesos, maybe less. if u want something lighter the arroz caldo is decent too. heads up its cash only i think, so bring small bills.
