I've only been to Nürnberg twice, but Gostenhof is where I'd go back to. Try Bar Fühlbar on Fürther Straße, small and cozy, and a night out with beer runs maybe 25 to 40 euros.

good call on Gostenhof, feels way less touristy than around the castle. if u want another cozy one, check out the little kneipen off Rothenburger Straße, cheap beer and no fuss.

stopped by on a trip last year. the sisig and the crispy pata are what people actually order, not the hyped stuff. go before noon, the line gets silly after 12 and seats fill fast.

tbh its more of a neighborhood carinderia vibe than a destination, portions are big and cheap but dont expect anything fancy.
