Is 180 Pesos Normal for Coffee in Manila 2026?

A large latte there was quoted to me at around 180 pesos, which seems steep for a cafe drink. Is that a normal price in Manila these days or am I looking at tourist markup?

180 pesos fits a sit-down Makati or BGC cafe, but for a quick latte near the airport I'd pay closer to 100 to 130 at a karinderya-style coffee stand.

The captive market at the airport is the real tax, so walk five minutes to a 7-Eleven City Cafe and you'll pay closer to 60 for a decent cup.

Fair shout, though the 7-Eleven by the airport road runs out of cups by mid-afternoon so grab one early.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Yeah but the one in Pasay is a hike with bags

180 is on the higher end but not crazy for airport-adjacent spots. A regular latte at a neighborhood place like a Kaffe Belardo branch is more like 120 to 140. Chang's location near NAIA is prob what's bumping it up.

Agreed, that stretch along Airport Road and Quirino really prices for transience. Bumping it up too is that most seats there are taken by people killing time before a flight, so turnover is slow. Somewhere like a Coffee Project branch in Pasay sits closer to 130.

Slow turnover makes sense but honestly the rent on that strip is what really stings, landlords know you can't walk far with luggage.

Bo's Coffee runs about 110 for a large.

Best bars in Nurnberg for a first visit 2026

Any recs for good beer bars or cozy spots in the Altstadt or Gostenhof? Also curious what a normal night out costs there.

I've only been to Nürnberg twice, but Gostenhof is where I'd go back to. Try Bar Fühlbar on Fürther Straße, small and cozy, and a night out with beer runs maybe 25 to 40 euros.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

yeah that 25 to 40 range sounds about right, maybe cheaper on weeknights

arrow_drop_up 0 arrow_drop_down

Altstadt side, try Bieramt on Breite Gasse.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

good call on Gostenhof, feels way less touristy than around the castle. if u want another cozy one, check out the little kneipen off Rothenburger Straße, cheap beer and no fuss.

Second this, Machhörndl for the coffee stop after
