Rasmia Macabago Boarding House 2026 reviews?
no idea about that specific place but tbh for a 3 month stint I'd look near Pedro Gil or Quirino stations instead, way easier for transit.
yeah and near those stations the trikes can rip u off at night so check if the place is actually walkable to the LRT
Vito Cruz is worth a look too, quieter side streets and still a short walk to the LRT.
fair point on transit. one thing tho, that area floods bad pag malakas ang ulan, so check if the street going to Rasmia is the kind that turns into a river. ask the owner directly about it.
good call on teh flooding, ask if the ground floor rooms get soggy too
Agree on the LRT angle but check if the place sits on a feeder road, those trike fares add up fast over 3 months.
Quirino side has cheaper carinderias too if that matters for a 3 month budget. Just watch the area right by the station at night, gets sketchy past 10. Ask the landlord about curfew rules before committing.
pedro gil side makes sense for transit but its pretty loud at night, jeeps and all. if u want quiet maybe look a couple blocks off the main road, still walkable.
honestly check if they charge a separate utility fee on top of rent, those boarding houses sometimes do and it adds up over 3 months
ask if water and kuryente are submetered, that's where they get u
Best bars in Nurnberg for a first visit 2026
I've only been to Nürnberg twice, but Gostenhof is where I'd go back to. Try Bar Fühlbar on Fürther Straße, small and cozy, and a night out with beer runs maybe 25 to 40 euros.
yeah that 25 to 40 range sounds about right, maybe cheaper on weeknights
Altstadt side, try Bieramt on Breite Gasse.
good call on Gostenhof, feels way less touristy than around the castle. if u want another cozy one, check out the little kneipen off Rothenburger Straße, cheap beer and no fuss.
Those little Kneipen are the right call, though a couple sit closer to the Plärrer end and get packed after 10 on Fridays. For something quieter, the side streets off Adam-Klein-Straße have a few unmarked corner pubs worth poking into.
Second this, Machhörndl for the coffee stop after
sounds about right, though u can easily spend less if you stick to the local stuff.
Fühlbar's crowd skews later, so swing by after 10 if u want it lively rather than half empty
