Visiting Manila next month and staying near 1246 Bar and Restaurant. Is it worth going for cocktails in 2026 or should I look elsewhere? Also curious what the vibe and prices are like on weekends. only been there once on a trip, but 1246 in pobla gets packed fri & sat, cocktails around 350 to 450. if u want quieter, try the spots along jupiter st in makati, less queue & similar prices

yeah jupiter st is teh move, way less hassle

Poblacion gets rowdy after 11, Jupiter's dead by 1am

that tracks tbh, pobla's chaos peaks around midnight then thins out, while jupiter is more of a dinner-to-drinks crowd that fades early. if u want a late one past 1am, head to the bgc spots instead

Agree on the price range, though the 350 stuff is usually the house pour. Ask what's in it before ordering, some places upcharge the moment you name a branded base. Weeknights are way calmer if u can swing it.

I'm not based in Manila so take this with a grain of salt, but I visited last year and Great Shakes is fine, just not a pilgrimage. If you're staying in that area, the nearby streets have better options for a proper shake, and the small cafes around the side roads tend to be quieter in the mornings. Worth walking a few blocks before committing.
