Altstadthof does its own rotbier, worth a look.

Their rotbier is dark and malty, so if u want something lighter go for the Landbier instead.

I'm not based in Manila so take this with a grain of salt, but I visited last year and Great Shakes is fine, just not a pilgrimage. If you're staying in that area, the nearby streets have better options for a proper shake, and the small cafes around the side roads tend to be quieter in the mornings. Worth walking a few blocks before committing.
