Is Farnecio Eatery worth a stop in Manila 2026?

Is it the kind of place worth planning a meal around, or more of a quick bite if you're nearby? I'd rather hear from people who've actually eaten there than trust the usual review sites.

only went once on a trip last year, decent silog for the price but i wouldnt plan a whole meal around it

Agree on the silog, though their tapa beats the longganisa and the queue at 8am on a weekday is brutal.

tapa over longganisa is the right call tbh, just budget extra time since the line barely moves after 7:30

Fair, the tocino's the sleeper pick though.

The bangus sisig is what I'd go back for, and it's gone by noon on weekends.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

get there before 10 on sat then

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Bangus sisig sells out even earlier during holy week, so plan around lunch instead

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Yeah, more of a nearby stop than a destination.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Second this, but go before 7 if you want a seat.

Silog's fine but the queue tells you everything.

180 is on the higher end but not crazy for a sit-down cafe in BGC or Makati; a kape sa tabi-tabi or 7-Eleven run gets you coffee for under 60.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Yardstick in Legazpi Village, similar pricing.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

Same ballpark at Commune in Poblacion, 160ish.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

yeah sit-down places charge extra for teh aircon basically

arrow_drop_up -1 arrow_drop_down

Fair point but the 60 peso stuff is mostly 3-in-1 or instant, real beans still run you 90+ at a karinderya-style kapehan.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

true but those 60 peso ones are mostly instant, real brewed coffee at a kapehan still lands closer to 100.
