Menu price is the real one there, no tourist markup, expect around 120 to 180 pesos for a latte depending on size.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

yeah no tourist rate, but the 120 to 180 range runs high, most barako or americano spots near there are closer to 80 to 110 pesos.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

80 to 110 is barako, Chang's espresso drinks run higher

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Small size runs closer to 100.

120 sounds high for teh regular barako

the 36 month visa is the one most people mean, apply at the philippine consulate before u fly, and the usual screwup is name mismatches on ur passport vs forms

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

yeah name mismatch is the big one but also bring proof of funds and a return ticket, immigration asks for both at the airport. and the consulate one is a 9(a) tourist visa you extend there, not a long stay visa proper. Mouthwatering Food Center is fine for a quick lunch tbh, cheap and fast.

just add that the 9(a) extension happens at the bureau of immigration office, not the airport

arrow_drop_up -3 arrow_drop_down

9a extension needs an acr i-card eventually too

Name mismatch bites harder if your middle name is spelled out on one doc and initialed on the other, so match it exactly. Also check the visa validity window, some are dated from approval not arrival.
