Only been once on a trip, but the sisig and tapsilog were solid and cheap, maybe 120 to 180 pesos now.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

sisig at 150 now, tapsilog closer to 170

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

150 matches what I paid, tapsilog nearer 160.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

yeah 120s is old pricing, closer to 170 now

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

tapsilog's crept up to around 170 lately, so budget a bit above that 120 to 180 range.

arrow_drop_up 12 arrow_drop_down

fair, 170 sounds about right for the tapsilog now. i'd still tack on a bit more if you're getting a drink or extra rice, maybe 200 total. the longganisa silog was cheaper when i stopped by.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

170 checks out for teh tapsilog, but add a drink and you're at 200 easy. Their calamansi juice runs around 30. I'd still say it's worth it since the portions are big.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Probably 180 once you add rice.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Longganisa silog's the cheaper order, around 130.

Went last year, the longganisa silog at breakfast beat the sisig for me, and it's like 130 pesos.

Manila food center meal 2026: is 250 pesos normal?

fmd_goodMouthwatering Food Center · #food #manila #meal
I'm visiting Manila next month and someone quoted me 250 pesos for a meal at Mouthwatering Food Center. Is that a normal price for a food center meal in 2026 or am I getting tourist-taxed? Would love… I'm visiting Manila next month and someone quoted me 250 pesos for a meal at Mouthwatering Food Center. Is that a normal price for a food center meal in 2026 or am I getting tourist-taxed? Would love a rough range for what a typical plate costs.
arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

250 is fine if it includes rice and a drink

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

only if the drink's not bottled water

arrow_drop_up 0 arrow_drop_down

right, but rice alone is usually 20 to 30 extra

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

slightly high, 150 to 200 is standard

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

yeah 150 to 200 sounds right for a basic plate

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

prob more like 120 if its just ulam

arrow_drop_up 0 arrow_drop_down

fair but that range assumes carinderia level not a food center stall
