Best milkshakes in Manila near Great Shakes 2026?

fmd_goodGreat Shakes Corporation · #milkshake
I'm visiting Manila next month and keep hearing about Great Shakes Corporation. Is it worth a stop for a milkshake, and what flavors should I try first? Also, how easy is it to get there from Makati? Ube first, pandan second.

Pandan's the sleeper pick for sure, but ask for it thick and they'll blend it with coconut rather than plain milk. Also try the avocado one if it's on the board, it's creamier than you'd expect.

Second this, though the chocolate one's underrated.

Manila food center meal 2026: is 250 pesos normal?

fmd_goodMouthwatering Food Center · #food #manila #meal
I'm visiting Manila next month and someone quoted me 250 pesos for a meal at Mouthwatering Food Center. Is that a normal price for a food center meal in 2026 or am I getting tourist-taxed? Would love… I'm visiting Manila next month and someone quoted me 250 pesos for a meal at Mouthwatering Food Center. Is that a normal price for a food center meal in 2026 or am I getting tourist-taxed? Would love a rough range for what a typical plate costs.
arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

250 is fine if it includes rice and a drink

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

only if the drink's not bottled water

arrow_drop_up 0 arrow_drop_down

right, but rice alone is usually 20 to 30 extra

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

slightly high, 150 to 200 is standard

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

yeah 150 to 200 sounds right for a basic plate

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

prob more like 120 if its just ulam

arrow_drop_up 0 arrow_drop_down

fair but that range assumes carinderia level not a food center stall
