Grab a ride after 9, Mabini gets sketchy.

yeah the side streets off quirino too

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Kalaw too, past midnight it's dead quiet.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

tbh even earlier around there is fine if u stick to the main road, it's the dark side streets that get me

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Fair point, though the stretch right by Zeny's stays lit till closing, it's the blocks south toward Remedios where it thins out.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

pedro gil side gets quiet too

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Agree, past 9 the whole stretch goes dark fast.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

ride's cheap enough, just book before the bars empty out

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

booking earlier also dodges the surge pricing after closing time

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

I'd say the corner by Zeny's stays lit past closing, so it's really the unlit side streets that turn it sketchy.

Last time I went, the sisig and lechon stalls were solid, meals ran around 150 to 250 pesos, cash only.

arrow_drop_up 23 arrow_drop_down

Second this, but the lechon sells out by early afternoon.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Agree on cash only, but bring small bills since the stalls rarely break anything bigger than a 500.

The grilled pusit stall near the back entrance is worth the extra 50 pesos if you catch it before noon.
